The e-Visa portal has its own rules on size, file and pose. Each one is explained below.

  • Size And File

    A 4 x 6 cm JPG. The portal lists more than one file limit, but the upload rejects anything over 2 MB, so we keep yours under 2 MB.

  • Background

    White, with no shadows or patterns.

  • Face And Pose

    Look straight at the camera with your full face showing. No hat.

  • Glasses

    Take them off. The portal asks for a photo with no glasses.

  • Clothing

    Wear formal clothes. The portal asks for polite, formal dress.

  • No Edits To Your Face
